Why remote-first suits a London diary
A central London consulting room means travel, waiting and a block of the day gone. Prosper removes most of that. Your blood is taken at home by a phlebotomist through the partner laboratory, Dr George reviews the results before you speak, and the consultation takes place by video from wherever suits you.
There are excellent clinics in central London. Prosper is simply a different shape of service, built for people whose time is the scarce thing.
What happens, step by step
- A complimentary 15-minute video discovery call to talk through what you want and whether Prosper is the right fit.
- A comprehensive blood panel through a partner laboratory, taken at home.
- A pre-prepared review, so Dr George has read your results before you speak.
- A 60-minute consultation, by video or in person in Bath.
- A detailed written report and a personalised action plan.
- A 45-minute follow-up to see how things have gone.
The whole sequence is set out on the how it works page.
What remote-first can and cannot do
Video works well for reviewing results, taking a history and agreeing a plan. It cannot replace a physical examination. If you need one, or if imaging or specialist input is needed, Dr George will say so and advise GP review or onward referral.
If you would rather meet face to face, in-person appointments are available in Bath. Availability of home blood draws in your area is confirmed on your discovery call. Prosper works alongside NHS care, not in place of it.
What the review covers
Dr George reads your results alongside your goals, not as a checklist. The conversation draws together cardiovascular and metabolic risk, hormonal health, sleep, stress, nutrition, recovery and body composition, along with what you want to feel and achieve over the coming years.
You leave with priorities in writing, not a list of everything that could be done. Anything that is optional is labelled as optional, and anything that belongs with your GP is passed back to your GP.
Who it suits
Business owners, executives and other busy professionals who want a doctor to go through their bloods properly and give a clear written plan. Some are curious about longevity, others about energy, recovery or long-term cardiovascular and metabolic health.
