How it works
GMC-registered doctor Sports & Exercise Medicine Active role in professional rugby Faculty, Apex Longevity Academy Primary care and emergency medicine experience

Prosper is a private, doctor-led longevity and performance practice founded by Dr George Collins, supporting clients across the UK. We work with people whose questions deserve more than a rushed appointment: energy that is not what it was, recovery that lags behind effort, a family history that plays on your mind, or simply the intention to age well and stay capable. It starts with an application and a short conversation, not a test kit.

The problem

The gap between effort and results is physiological, not motivational.

Most people notice it before any test does:

  • Sleep that restores less
  • Energy that dips earlier in the day
  • Effort that no longer matches results
  • A body that responds differently than it used to

These changes are measurable. Understanding them early is how you shape the decades ahead instead of reacting to them.

Either way, it starts in the same place: a doctor who listens properly, sees the whole picture, and turns it into a plan you can follow.

The approach

Start with the person, not the panel.

Most services in this space begin by selling you a test. Prosper begins with you. Testing matters, and we use it properly, but it is chosen for you, not from a menu.

1

Understand

A full hour with Dr George, built on your history, goals and baseline results.

2

Investigate

Targeted testing only where it adds value. Recommended, never sold as a package.

3

Interpret

Your results, read together in context and explained in plain language.

4

Act

A written, personal plan, then a proper review eight to twelve weeks later.

FAQ's

What does it cost?

Prosper is a private, self-funded service. The recommended pathway and all expected costs are explained clearly before you decide whether to proceed, and the discovery call includes an open conversation about the likely investment. No surprises, and nothing to pay before you have chosen to go ahead.

Is this a blood-testing service?

No. Testing is part of the work, but it is selected for you by Dr George, for your goals and context. You will never be asked to build your own package from a menu.

Do I need to be an athlete?

No. Most Prosper patients are simply people who want to feel, function and age well. Athletes and coached clients follow the same programme with a performance emphasis.

What happens on the discovery call?

Fifteen minutes with Dr George, at no cost. What you are looking for, how Prosper works, the likely investment, and an honest answer about fit. It is not a medical consultation and there is no obligation.

Does Prosper replace my GP?

No. Prosper complements your GP rather than replacing primary care. Anything outside our scope is referred back appropriately.

Are consultations in person or remote?

Whichever suits you and the clinical need. Both are available.
